When Pamela scheduled a routine visit at Carevide Women’s Health in Greenville, she never imagined how much that appointment would change her life.
During her visit, her provider discovered a lump in her breast and urged her to get a mammogram. The results came back, and Pamela was diagnosed with breast cancer.
At first, Pamela felt scared and hopeless, unsure of what the future might hold. But with the support of her Carevide care team, and through the help of the Breast and Cervical Cancer Services (BCCS) program, she found a path forward.
The BCCS program provided access to the screenings and diagnostic services she needed — care that may have otherwise been out of reach. And through it all, her Carevide team was there, encouraging her at every visit and reminding her that she wasn’t alone in this journey.
Today, she is in remission — and full of gratitude.
“Carevide and the BCCS program have been a blessing to me. I don’t know where I’d be without them.”, she shared.
Her story is a reminder that early detection and compassionate care can truly change lives.
Carevide is here to answer questions and help you apply to the program.
