Celebrating National Health Center Week at Carevide
Every August, Carevide joins more than 1,400 community health centers across the country in celebrating National Health Center Week—a week dedicated to recognizing the heart and soul behind community health: our staff, our patients, our partners, and the communities we serve.
A Week of Purpose and Appreciation
This year, Carevide observed NHCW from August 3 to August 9—a week packed with meaningful activities and heartfelt recognition of our team, our patients, and our communities.
- Spirit Week: Fostering Unity
Our staff showed up in full force for Spirit Week—dressing up in creative themes and showcasing the unity that makes Carevide strong.
- Patient Appreciation: Snacks and Smiles
We gave our patients snacks and gestures of appreciation throughout the week—a small token for their trust in us and for making Carevide part of their health journey.
- Staff Engagement: Raffle Prizes
Carevide staff had the opportunity to enter the drawing for daily raffle prizes by testing their CHC knowledge and showing their pride for the health center mission.
- Community Support: NHCW Proclamations
A heartfelt thanks to the mayors and county judges in our different communities for officially declaring August 3-9, 2025 as National Health Center Week. It was an honor to have these civic recognition sand a powerful reminder of our community’s support.
Why NHCW Matters
National Health Center Week, led by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), is more than a celebration—it’s a platform to:
- Highlight the essential, lifesaving services care centers provide to underserved communities.
- Build public awareness and support for continuing access to affordable, high-quality healthcare healthcenterweek.org+1NACHC.
- Unite health centers nationwide around themes like staff appreciation, patient recognition, and future planning healthcenterweek.org+1.
- Drive advocacy for sustained funding—recognizing that without it, millions may lose access to critical care services NACHC.
