Family Nurse Practitioner Ashley Haasis strives for healthy starts, happy faces in Farmersville

Haasis brings a specialized focus on pediatric care and a passion for building healthy foundations for kids in Farmersville–including her own–and surrounding areas.

A heart for pediatric healthcare

With four years of dedicated experience in pediatrics—serving first as a registered nurse and now as a nurse practitioner—Haasis understands the unique needs of growing children.

She says childhood is the perfect time for instilling a focus on positive health. Whether it’s a well-child checkup or managing a common childhood illness, her goal is to ensure that your little ones are set up for a lifetime of good health.

“Children are little sponges,” Haasis says. “So every visit is a chance to teach healthy habits that lead to healthy lives.”

The answer, Haasis says, is simple: “Kids are just a lot more fun!” By creating a supportive and joyful environment, she helps patients and their families feel at ease. Deep roots in north Texas

As a native Texan and a 2011 graduate of Wylie High School, she is thrilled to be back home serving the community she loves. Her journey has taken her many places, but returning to Texas to provide accessible pediatric healthcare was always the goal.

Life as a “boy mom”

Outside of the clinic, she stays just as active as her patients. She and her husband of eight years are raising two energetic boys, ages six and four. Therefore, you can usually find her outdoors or doing something sporty with her family. This firsthand experience as a parent allows her to relate to the daily joys and challenges of raising children in today’s world.
