Carevide leadership recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Association of Community Health Centers Policy & Issues Forum, one of the nation’s largest gatherings focused on community health center advocacy and policy. The event brings together health center leaders, clinicians, and advocates from across the country to discuss key healthcare issues and meet with policymakers to support continued access to care for underserved communities.

While in Washington, Carevide CEO Michael Glass and Carevide Board Chair Stan McKee had the opportunity to connect with staff from the office of Pat Fallon. Conversations like these help highlight the important role community health centers play in providing accessible, high-quality care to the patients and communities we serve.

The Policy & Issues Forum also provides an opportunity for health center leaders to share their experiences directly with lawmakers and advocate for policies that strengthen the health center movement nationwide.

Carevide is grateful for the opportunity to represent our patients and community at the national level and to continue advocating for strong support of community health centers.
